Just Love Mission (JLM) is a non-profit Public Benefit Organization, whose aim it is to serve all people impartially through the medium of aviation.
Born out of love for aviation and the positive effects it has, not only on individuals but communities as a whole, Just Love Mission strives to Uplift the underprivileged, serve the destitute and to positively impact the lives of many.
Just Love Mission owns and operates an Antonov AN-2 aircraft which was donated from Russia and flown to South Africa for this specific purpose. The aircraft, better known as “Little Annie,” is a unique and familiar figure within the Southern African aviation environment and is used extensively for charity work, educational programs, social upliftment, and humanitarian aid.
Little Annie is loved by many, young and old. and has over the years become a favorite component of airshows, outreaches as well as Corporate Social Investment initiatives.
What makes the Just Love Mission project unlike any other in the world today, is that while we are delivering humanitarian services in various regions, we afford orphaned and less privileged children/people a once in a lifetime experience to fly and to meet Little Annie in person. Little Annie is a live personality that children to whom come from broken backgrounds can relate. She aspires to give them hope, showing them that even when life seems impossible, if they work hard and use their unique gifts and talents, whatever they may be, that they too can achieve the impossible in life
Just Love Mission’s vision is to change people’s lives positively through neighborly love (Ubuntu), by means of aviation awareness through the persona of “Little Annie” an Antonov AN-2 aircraft which was donated out of love and flown all the way from Russia (Siberia) to South Africa for this specific purpose.
We use “Little Annie” as a lively and vibrant personality (based on the original comic strip and subsequent musical “Annie”) in the form of an aircraft, to kindle hope in the hopeless and to spur a desire in others to give according to their gifts. The concept of a “living aircraft” is uniquely attractive and captivates the imagination through her exciting adventures, as people meet “Little Annie” and see how she lives out her attitude of “Care 2 Share” and to “believe the seemingly impossible”.
She provides much needed humanitarian aid and an opportunity to experience flight to those who did not believe they would ever know the joy of flight. It is indeed “Little Annie’s” mission, through her exposure in person, through social media coverage (printed media radio and the soon to come reality show,) and through media (website, Facebook, and Instagram), to become a household name with a significant following. She will thus be instrumental in building productive relationships between sponsors and communities through the medium of aviation.
Through challenging work infused with ample humor and using this tangible conduit through which sustainable social and economic environments are created, we believe that Just Love Mission provides a winning recipe to see people uplifted, the environment protected, and a positive attitude promoted among both volunteers and communities.
The idea for the Just Love Mission (JLM) project was conceived by Mark Hill, a seasoned pilot with 40 years’ flying experience in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Mark is also a qualified aircraft accident and incident investigator and aircraft safety officer specializing in human factors and was joined by likeminded and passionate people who also have years of experience in aviation. Just Love Mission is a non-profit Public Benefit Organization, whose aim it is to serve all people impartially through the medium of aviation.

The aircraft, affectionately known as “Little Annie,” is a unique and familiar figure within the South African aviation environment and is used extensively in charity work, educational programs, social upliftment, and humanitarian aid. What makes the Just Love Mission project unlike any in the world today, is that while we are delivering humanitarian services in various regions, we afford less privileged children/people a once in a lifetime experience to fly and inspire them to pursue their dreams whatever they may be. The JLM outreach model not only includes tangible aid where needed, but also enrichment and personal upliftment to individuals and communities.
We partner with role models who have come from similar backgrounds of poverty who are able to relay their life story and encourage and give hope others that they too may achieve their respective dreams in alignment with their natural talents. “The day Little Annie came to our village” must have a life changing impact on young and old. We believe the persona of “Little Annie” the aircraft, stimulates the imagination and that young children therefore identify with Little Annie as someone who has overcome numerous challenges to achieve her dreams. What drives us is “Just Love” – a genuine desire to make a difference in the world using our aviation talents, skills, expertise, and knowledge to pay it forward to under-served communities and inspiring and educating them in various life skills. We truly hope that your visit to our website will be pleasurable and will inspire you to join us to leave a legacy of love and appreciation for others.
